The one who engineered the second worst form for half a season only surpassed in crapness by relegated Rotherham.
The one who gave up on half a season and survived relegation only by an already dismissed former manager's points haul.
The one who has refused to sign a striker since Ross Stewart was sold over two years ago.

2 of those are the same point essentially aren't they, I think he'd admit himself he made a mess of the second half of last season. As for strikers, I must've imagined the 4 we signed last year, regardless of how rubbihs they were

You could probably look back over recent transfer windows and find an almost identical thread.

Early on in the window people expressing concerns and being dismissed as bed wetters etc then as the window draws on a few more start voicing concerns and then as the window closes yet again without a competent striker signed and the penny drops….

Until the club address the glaring issue it’s going to be rinse and repeat

Numerous teams haven't made any/many signings though, it's generally what happens during summer tournament season.

We all know what we need, I think the OP mentioning we have 3 weeks to get it is the problem

At least the pre-season is a relatively short trip to Spain and not a series of tough flights across a decent chunk of the US, with all the tiredness and rests that went with it last year, which actually got in the way of preparing the squad.
