The fixation with Dodds and Proctor has certainly caused some very odd behaviour in some of our fans.

I couldn’t really comment on Proctor because I know very little about him or how he goes about his job.
Dodds getting into the limelight certainly showed him up several times that did concern me.

The not talking to the players for 48 hours
The we decided to give them possession because they have never won a game when they have more possession- and they won!
I know we talk about roles, head coach, assistant Manager and coach. I definitely wouldn’t want Dodds in the first two, maybe he is a good coach we don’t know but we DO know he is not a good HC or AM.

Some Coventry fans were upset when their assistant got sacked, think George Boateng has gone there to replace him.

They played a minor role then. Mowbray and Venus organised training sessions. They are probably ok if they have someone telling them what to do. Just become lost when they tried to do it themselves.

Maybe that was the experience of Mowbray and Venus . Perhaps when we went innovative and that we showed relegation form over 30 games . Just a thought

Aah so it's the head coaches work when it goes well but the assistants when it goes wrong.

No they played the role of coaches, they played their part. The bit about training sessions being organised by Mowbray and Venus isn't true mind , of course they had a say but Dodds and Proctor were a very big part of it. They're good coaches.

Aah so it's the head coaches work when it goes well but the assistants when it goes wrong.
