Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)


On the limited footages he looks like an attacking midfielder. His passing looks good and he holds the ball well under challenge.His goals output would fit a attacking midfielder.
The video obviously based on the best bits of his season but with his age and offer from the Saudis you would think that's where he's headed.

Possibly. Don’t mind as long as it’s someone good. I’d like to see two senior strikers then as you say Mayenda as third choice plus Rusyn who can cover on the left also.

Not many midfielders that get 60 odd goals across three seasons. I think he’s definitely a CF now but think he started off as a midfielder.
 
Not seen any French league 2 football, where would it rank against the championship?

Interesting twist to go for someone at the end of their career rather than the start. Would have been nice to target someone in the prime, but be good to have someone with experience.

Definitely a striker mate. That’s the only position he’s really played. Just drops deep and runs the channels. Also I’ve seen the lad wants to stay in Europe but who knows

The worry is we have signed players from ligue 1 who have still been poor for us in the championship. Hard to believe a ligue 2 striker will, who has only really performed well the last few years in that level. Here's hoping he's just a late bloomer
