Started today at Jesmond . On a rain interrupted day the visitors finished on 108/4 after 36 overs . Carlisle lad Stanley McAlindon playing to gain match fitness ended the day 21* ,batting at 4. Mitch Killeen and Ross Whitfield turned out for the hosts alongside ex Durham player Harry Crawshaw. Unfortunately the forecasts not too clever for the remaining 2 days 🤞

Latest update from the posh suburbs of Newcastle. The Lake District lads rallied to 252 with 106 in 64 balls from Freddie Fallows . Matt Oswell finished with 20-2-75-6 . Northumberland crumbled to 10/4 and are currently 50/4 with Jacques Du Toit and Mitch Killeen at the crease

Northumberland scrape a score of 120 with only JDT 35 and MO 20 reaching double figures. Cumbria currently 15/3 in their second knock . 2 for MK and 1 for MO

Cumbria reach 109 all out after being 57/8. 3 wickets for Academy lad George Darwood and the last 2 in his only over by Matty Scott. Lead by 241 with hopefully a day to go .

Rain delayed start at Osborne Avenue. If betting was allowed I would say game abandoned around lunchtime
