SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme


if anyone is involved with the upgrades, please send some pictures - i would love to see how it’s all ticking over in there. Really looking forward to getting back in the SOL and see how this season goes. I might be the only one, but i have a feeling it might be a gooden.
 
Apparently the new PA system and floodlights are synchronised so by the looks of it, could end up doing them bollocky light displays.

Now I don’t know if I’m alone on this but I hope to god they don’t start that shite, cringey as owt, in my opinion.

Either way, improvements are improvements I suppose, just hope they don’t try to do light shows.

God I hope not with the light display they look absolutely tragic at Stoke and Boro, ultimate cringe fest

I can't think of another reason to do it, bollocky light displays are on the way.
 
How it’s looking currently at the stadium of light. looks like the floodlights are off, and the netted PA system is still up. Pitch looks wonderful, but my god that roof needs something doing, much longer it’ll be condemned. Also speaking to someone at the stadium the other day, power is all off inside.

Light displays can be epic

Obviously everyone on here will hate them and I expect ours will be shit - but it has potential

Personally hope it's like a Coldplay gig where everyone is given glow up bracelets

Be a boost to the local economy too whereby those light sellers at the illuminations etc can earn a few extra bob

Tenner for a light up twirly thing etc

I like it.

When we score the light bracelets light up and maybe over the tannoy “put your arms in the air to show your bracelets”
