There is a gig at the northern area playing fields in washington coming up on July 20th to celebrate the new towns 60th birthday. The revolutionaries, smoove and turrell, then washys finest Martin Stephenson and the daintees.
 
At the Purple Turtle in Reading this eve to see Sweet Pill, Suds and Soot Sprite.

For someone with my music taste that's a stacked bill for a free gig.

Got Spanish Love Songs next Tuesday, doing their "Brave Faces Everyone" album. I'm not going to be ok. That album is too bleak
 
Late to this thread but Liam Gallagher at the new Co op Live last Friday was absolutely insane.

Also, the venue - WOW

Also, didn’t realise City were extending the Etihad. The new extension is HUGE.
 
Kevin Morby at Boiler Shop tonight, never seen that venue even remotely close to being as empty as it was tonight. Felt so bad for him.

Killed it to be fair to him, entire band was on well. Support act had a belting voice.

On a selfish note I had a great view near the front. Thought they were all tremendous and agreed on the support (Uwade) cracking voice and loved her guitar sound.
Was a brilliant night of live music with absolutely nee fker there.
Shame as these artists won’t be coming back with crap ticket sales. Same as goat girl last week sold bot all tickets .

Glasgow Hydro and Leeds First Direct miles better.
