Anderson finished?

No, best bowler by a mile, forced retirement
First time I’ve ever read you have an opinion outside copy and pasting links

Interesting opinion but wrong.

Anderson is finishing at international level.

These wickets in domestic level can’t compare

If Anderson had been playing at the Riverside these past few days he'd have returned far better figures than his potential successor Potts.Guaranteed.

I hear what you saying but
He was still the most effective seam bowler in India last test series.

But are you confident that we have any who are better either ability or fitness wise?
Will have to see

There has to be a point when the old stagers step aside and if we don’t blood some in the tests this summer, then when will we

It’ll happen to root and stokes at some point

The management has decided to give Jimmy a send off so that’s that really

Be interesting if he finishes altogether after the first test

He was but like in a defensive kind of way, more tight than taking wickets

Nobody has stepped up like I agree

I was being tongue in cheek but there's a frightening lack of fit prospects. I'm just delighted that they're trying to keep Jimmy involved as a mentor.

He had much better figures than Pennington on the same pitch these past few days as well
Possibly . It’s time though for jimmy and for England to go to others
I think Sam Cook of Essex should get a chance. Averaging 19.32 across his first class career and especially on form at the moment
