Anthony Gordon

Just wait til all the mags start saying he was shite anyway despite saying Anderson is their brightest prospect in a generation which has been said for a long time now.

Probably the worst away support I have seen from them, all little YouTubers or some shit with the little photo at the end. At least they won the 'beating the mackems at last cup', what was it, 12 years?
Agree with their support. Was really taken back by how shite it was. Incredible really
And we spent our money giving them free drinks.

No im not bloody over it!
Tbf the drinks thing is sourced via an external agency not safc

Catering is farmed out

I remember their support from their other wins and it was nowt like that. Proper whoppers these lot, bless them probably not old enough to remember any wins against us

Nah, the new mantra is that he sacrificed himself with a multimillion pound transfer for the good of the team in the long term

Just like loyal Minteh, who loves the club (dispite the fact it was rumoured the club threatened him with the reserves if he didn't agree a deal).

It's worth reminding everyone that they sold their soul for all of this. Probably not what those dancing about with teatowels on their heads were expecting at the time.

Honestly, I find it hilarious that the richest club in the world need to sell their prospects today or get a points deduction.

It shows me that football is fucked and we’re better off out of it for a year or two
A year or two?
I admire your optimism mate

“Yeeeessss, imagine man, now Ashley’s gone we’ll be able to sell players for £35m to comply with psr. Warratime to be alive man”. As they danced under the lights outside st James park.

Does it hurt that we can buy an unknown kid for £7m and sell him for £33m within a year while people here pontificate about how much Clarke is worth and if you will ever see rhe majority of the cash invested it the team (SAFCs team I mean not Spurs)
does it hurt knowing you are poor ?

I can sort of understand the fiddle going on at the minute to get round this FFP by the likes of them kernts, everton, villa , chelsea etc.

What I dont understand is, its blatantly obvious what they doing so how comes it hasnt been stopped and wtf are brighton doing getting involved ? arent they meant to be one of the best ran clubs, sustainable etc

Not sure there’s a way to stop it unless the premier league starts dictating what players are worth fee wise. Which would see it straight into court for restriction of trade. This will just go on and on if this is what clubs are doing to negotiate their way thru fsr
As for Brighton, I’m not sure they are necessarily involved, it may just be they wanted minteh. The fee for Anderson seems quite heavy like

How does this work like and what benefit is it to Brighton for paying way over the odds for a player?

No idea if the fee for minteh is way over the odds, the lad seems fast as fuck, and did well in the Dutch league last year itseems. May well be Brighton got a bargain if he gets off to a flyer and the mags will be regretting selling him.

But then I’m puzzled how loads of fees are paid, Man U has half a team of massively over priced players, Everton been buying duds for years for big money etc

If anyone were of a suspicious nature you’d wonder how they’ve managed to offload 2 players on the same weekend for such exorbitant figures, to help them comply with psr.
