Anyone going to this? I know nothing about women’s cricket at all
Said they are selling for 5 quid tho
I’m going. Been to the last 2 women’s international games at CLS and both have been v entertaining. The £5 tickets are concessions.
Seems to be the case for the women’s games, last 2 have been odd, 2 years ago was just after Queen died and it had rained all day, last year bowled out Sri Lanka in under 30 overs and knocked it off in no time, looks like it could be the same todayThought more would be going to this like
There were next to none....lots of really good stuff / banners outside the ground this morning but nothing on the run up to the fixture. No mention of it over the tannay at the T20 Leicester game a couple of weeks ago either iircI had no idea this game was on.
Says a lot for Durham's promotion of this game. Maybe I just didn't see all the adverts for it.
I’m a member so on the mailing list. I get 2 or 3 emails a week and it’s been mentioned on the majority of them. The tickets you print off for games (incl the parking passes I get for T20s) have had an advert on them. There are posters all over the ground.Says a lot for Durham's promotion of this game.

I don’t for one minute think the communications from the club are perfect, but they seem to have made an effort with this.
It was a good day out. Great batting by the England overs, particularly Tammy Beaumont (whose bat is nearly as tall as she is)
Also saw Ross Millard from the Futureheads, who was sitting a few rows behind me in the Co Durham stand.

But posters around the ground and emails to members is preaching to the converted![]()
It was England ladies playing though so surely they should have marketed it better to the general public. Members of Durham CCC were always going to know about it cos it was on the fixture list. I go into both Chester le street and Houghton regularly to shop and dont recall see any posters / flyers for the fixtureI’m a member so on the mailing list.
