Right so listening to this now and unless the last 5 minutes is an avalanche of negativity there’s nothing remotely negative about this at all. Apart from the impartial guest. There is some irony like on people making out like they have some sort of narrative when the only narrative is to call them negative regardless of what they say. This particular podcast is not remotely negative like haha some of you have a weird thought process like. Instantly coming on here to shout negative when it’s just simply not. Odd

Really dont understand all this. Is it because they arent afraid to criticise the club like some other pods?

Its my favourite one.

I was going off what people on here who have listened said, and my general impression of WMS. It is widely regarded as the most negative/willing to be critical (depending on your perspective) of the podcasts. I don’t think that’s controversial.

Will give it a listen today.

It lost a bit of it's charm for me, the humour had/has disappeared. I like the lads on there but the criticism became all the pod was about for a while. I get things weren't great but for something that I listened to as it was entertaining became anything but that.

I still listen to it out of habit and have done since the very beginning, attended live shows etc. I don't enjoy it anywhere like I used to if honest. I'm normally just irritated listening to it through the constant snide sarcastic comments and whitty banter that only you lads get. You and Stephen are the best ones on there by a mile mind.
 
I think some of the WMS pods are overly negative for sure, but that one wasn't. The lass even gave credit to Hemir for scoring a couple of goals!

It does feel like the polar opposite to how it used to be, where they'd see positives. I think they might have had issues with club owners and directors at some point and it's left them a little bitter.

Yeah, i turned it off when I was commuting to work when Chris mentioned that they would come to the French lads having the same agent. So, I thought it was going to be a bot conspiratorial for me. Gave it another chance after finishing WTF, and it's one of the better ones in a while.

WMS was what got me hooked on Sunderland podcasts years ago, so even though I don't enjoy them as much anymore I still give them a go, but switch off if they get too depressing.

So you’ve not listened to it but thought you’d take the effort to come on here and post about it being negative. Almost like a little pack mentality building here and it’s totally unwarranted in my opinion like

Aye I still like the ones with the original 2 on, although they are more cynical than they were as well. I remember them writing our season off when we made the playoffs in about April!

Nowt wrong with this one but I thought the guest got more to say on the WTF one.

Either way it's free and it helps when I'm working so if I don't enjoy it I just stop it, no harm done.

The criticism was all there was because criticism is all the club warranted for months on end.
