Regis le Bris - confirmed

"For that to be true I would have to feel negative about this appointment." No, you are calling others for feeling negative about the appointment.

"It's a personal choice how people look at the same event differently." Yes, it is a personal choice, but when people are understandably negative you criticize them for it.
It's not "understandably negative". I'm not negative and those who are negative have never seen this man manage Sunderland and have never seen us kick a ball under him. Negativity based on no evidence is not "understandably"

We'll know how good he is after four or five games? Haway man. Good or bad we'll still have no idea.

We lost against MK Dons and drew against Wimbledon, Burton and Charlton in Alex Neil's first five games.
You can see already that how he starts is going to make or break his tenure tho, unfortunately it will probably be as quick as that many decide. Those who have eagerly claimed he’s going to fail won’t want to give him time if he’s struggling as they might miss the opportunity to come on here bumping posts and gloating.

We could do with a good showing in preseason and a kind run of early fixtures to get him off and running because apart from a handful of loonies and wums most will change their mind based on a good start.

Of course supporters will give him time , you usually can tell after 10 game.

I get the impression that for some people once they make their mind up there’s a real mental barrier to ever admitting they were wrong. I’m not sure what that’s about but you see it all the time, not just on here or to do with football.

An avalanche of real world evidence contradicting their view won’t move their opinion an inch.

The poster I quotes was talking about four or five games, based on what someone else said would be when we will know.

I’m not sure everyone will give him time. I’m also talking about this place more than in the ground.

It’s all coming together.

I just hope they’ve got it right this time.
If nowt else, these appointments would show they believe in the new bloke.
Erwann le Postec - another Breton. The Celts are taking over.

And might lay to rest the "can't bring in his own staff" theory.
At least he’s got his team. The first assistant is a sports psychologist, not looked into those two but it’s obviously people he trusts to bring different things to the table

And I know some will turn their nose up but having Dodds and proctor behind doing what they did with Mowbray is a good thing

Both look to have been coaches (roles undefined). David is also Breton (born in Rennes).
