Forthcoming gigs.

Foos, easily. It was the second time I'd seen each of them, still really enjoyed GD but Foos are another level.

I found it really weird that we were directed to walk through the standing area to get to our seats. We could have just stayed in the standing area, no-one would have known or stopped us! Mind, from where we were sitting, it didn't look as though the standing space was overwhelmed; we saw people walking through it with trays of beers managing with apparent ease.

Same here. It was on the way out getting ushered into a one way system to the trams, when we needed to be in the opposite direction. So had to wait ages by the trams until crowds went down. Dunno why they didn't announce that if you didn't want the tram use the exists behind the stage. Could've got back to hotel an hour earlier.

Ah, that sounds rubbish. That didn't happen to us, we were directed the correct way.

They were, but the event organisation was a shambles, and that venue shouldn't be allowed 50k events given they don't have sufficient access to accommodate crowds of that size.
Yeah, took ages to get a tram. A wait made worse by some bellends incessantly chanting ‘Yorkshire, Yorkshire’ in the queue, presumably trying to get a rise out of their neighbours. Simpletons

Apparently the two shows are 6pm to 8pm and 9pm to 11pm
The Bairns managed to get Fontaines DC tickets for Boiler Shop, tried all morning Wednesday and Friday to get Paul McCartney tickets but no luck.

He’s off abroad first time without me to Rolling Loud festival in Austria.

I’ve just got OCS tickets for Tynemouth should be canny.

Nick Mason at the Sage last night was absolutely superb. Awesome show.

The Station East and The Central are two absolutely cracking pubs anarl.

Agreed. I got quite emotional at times, especially when they played the old R & B one, Remember Me, with Syd singing, and looking down at them from the big screen. Mason sounded so old and fragile when he did his first comedy intro but then spent 2 hours hammering away at his kit. Not bad for 80, eh?

We ended up in Station East before and after. Had wanted to try Micro Bus but it was rammed before and unpleasantly hot and smelly after!

Agreed, well worth travelling up for!
Enjoyed one of them Pitman pies with my pint in The Station East. Set me up nicely for the evening.

Yeah we went in Micro Bus but gave up waiting and went back to Station East.

Certainly not!

Off to see Bernard Butler in Gosforth tonight but might drive as it will be a faff with the Metros off beyond Sth Gosforth. Like the venue but lacks some decent pubs close by.

 I just wondered when you said about being a bit emotional, as the bandana fella in front of me was bang into it.
