Genuinely never thought this saga would end with us appointing someone who has just taken his side down after finishing the season in worse form than Mike Dodds.

After another 3 games, mike dodds may well have taken us down, so it is indeed bizarre.

Could be good, could be shit. I have zero expectations and think he was nowhere near who they wanted but no one else woujd accept Dodds and Procter. I will support him from day one and judge him only on results and performances at Sunderland but my expectation level is low
