Forthcoming gigs.

Aye same ere thanks to me daughter, completely forgot about it
Put an alarm in my phone that helped me.

Looking forward to it. Doubt they’ll ever go back to their Dogreal style days, but you’ll not get the chance to see them in a 1,000 capacity venue anytime soon.

That said, I preferred the early singles, bsides & demos to the first album.

This week booked to see Culture Club in Newcastle on the Saturday, Magic Numbers in York the following Wednesday and now Pual Heaton is in between on the Monday in the dark side, have got his album pre-ordered so should be okay for tickets on pre-sale, hope so, hotel booked 😳

Never had the chance to see them yet, nearly went to city hall a few years ago but couldnt go for some reason. Ive a feeling it will be a shorter show than normal, think I saw somewhere they start at 7, if so itll have to finish by about 8 to 8.30 to let the next crowd in. Anyways plenty of time for a few in mosaic tap before metro home.

For the Boiler Shop? I just bought 6. Assuming I’ll get 6 CDs & 6 gig ticket

Apparently the two shows are 6pm to 8pm and 9pm to 11pm

Nice, who was better? Foos or GD??
Foos, easily. It was the second time I'd seen each of them, still really enjoyed GD but Foos are another level.
They were, but the event organisation was a shambles, and that venue shouldn't be allowed 50k events given they don't have sufficient access to accommodate crowds of that size.
I found it really weird that we were directed to walk through the standing area to get to our seats. We could have just stayed in the standing area, no-one would have known or stopped us! Mind, from where we were sitting, it didn't look as though the standing space was overwhelmed; we saw people walking through it with trays of beers managing with apparent ease.
