I said similar a few pages back. If this fella had been appointed within 10 days of Beale going there’d have been uproar, but 100+ days later and people are spinning a gloss on it. Talk about fickle.

Fans will give him a chance, but let’s look at his stats and they don’t make very good reading. I’m not wetting my knickers here and sincerely hope he does well, but this is a cheap appointment who was most of his career worked with the B team or youth team. Fits the model apparently.

Only one I’d have been on more board with would have been Cifuentes, and even he isn’t a guarantee of anything. The rest I had the same doubts about as i have with this bloke.

No gloss from me. I don’t know if he is the right man or not but I think we have to give him a chance.

Would there have been uproar if he'd been brought back in Feb? I'm not so sure.
 
I wonder if its possible to at least try and be optimistic and at least wait until hes managed few games first and see what happens. Its better than Dodds, Beale or no manager
