was kompany getting an expensively assembled burnley team promoted from the championship a greater success or achievement than Le Bris getting his club to 10th in the top flight-one of their highest finishes for decades?
I would argue given the size of the tasks in front of them-Kompany has achieved less as a manager than Le Briss..

What a depressing appointment if true. Granted I know nothing about him but he has nothing other than a relegation and a 10th placed finish on his CV. Steve Bruce managed that but he had a few promotions to balance things out too.

We sacked a decent coach to appoint a much worse one then bulleted him to put the gaffers mate in charge who was even worse again, all so that we could find the ideal man, and this is what they come up with. The lorient chairman must be laughing at us again not only did we give them £16m for ndong we’re now paying compo for a coach they were probably going to sack anyway. Happy days.

Granted I know nothing about him but I’m depressed by the appointment…..

Why not find out about him or wait and see? Some people have a terrible attitude to life.
