Simon Moore compendium thread

Always nice to see a good scarf pic

I hope not. Bass and Bishop have gone so I suspect Moore will be cover for Patto.
I actually wrote Pickers there.
That's rolling back the years
Bass has gone, Bishop hasn't, he might well go but he hasn't yet.

Has Bishop gone? He signed a 3 year contract last summer.

This looks a decent signing to me. We have lots of very promising young keepers, an older head around them is no bad thing.

He's completely different. He's a 34 year old with 200 league appearances. He has experience, the others didn't really have a load.
I thought the other two had played a fair bit ?? Be honest I’ll pay as much attention to this signing as I did those two hopefully.

Experience doesn’t just come with playing regular football though. He’s at an age where he can help younger lads in the squad.

Keepers make a career out of being second choice, which is exactly what he’ll be here.

He was always in the pregame warmups with the active keepers together with our GK coach. So while it's surprising, think he can bring something positive to your keeping position, even at a coaching level.

I guess Bishop and Bass were not good enough to push Patto going by KS comments

Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman added: “We are really pleased to welcome Simon to our Club. This summer, we felt it was vital to identify and recruit a goalkeeper who is capable of pushing Anthony Patterson daily, and who has additional qualities to training and match environments. Simon has a different profile to many players within our group and he is as motivated to push Anthony as he is to help our younger goalkeepers and the wider player group. We are delighted he has joined the Club.”
This lad no better then Bass or Bishop
