Not sure what to think about this one. We never seem to get a manager who is on the up. Just another out of work plodder.

Doesn’t sound great, every appointment comes with a risk factor so hopefully he’s a footballing guru
 
Awful season last year, no suprise he was sacked/released. Yes he had to sell a couple of players (two of which for very good fees) but still got to spend half the income to bring replacements in. Not sure it was enough to warrant how much of a cliff this season went for lorient compare to last year. Especially when we will most likely apply a similar financial approach for him

Finish 10th his first season, 2nd season he got relegated, mayb he had sell all best players reason the downfall

Still doesn't explain a 26 point drop this season imo. Sold 4 for around 50mil and spent half that on replacements. A dip fair enough but dropping like a stone is concerning imo even with a few sales. Especially when we are likely to lose our best players this summer as well

Seemingly sold a few but money was reinvested seemingly a similar setup as our “model” and it went to shit. That was his only job too so not much of a track record was the good season a fluke? The bad season a blip as they say in that piece it would be a very risky appointment.

Last paragraph is spot on from the writer..... All appointments carry an element of risk, but he would be more on the riskier side of things.

Bought incouple of 2nd division players, 1 serie b aswell, not very convincing tbh
