Okay, might as well just say what I've been told, paraphrasing:

Negotiations are way beyond 900k and QPR are looking for a massive windfall under the guise this derails their season, a tribunal may see it that way.

My favourite story from OTR is the

Speakman’s on gardening leave
A new DOF has been appointed
They’re going to announce him after the HC

Why would it go to tribunal? There’s a contract with a release clause, if the fee and it’s £900K they can either pay it, or they may pay less, but it wouldn’t end up as a tribunal, it’s not like a free transfer where in some circumstances it can happen

Us , we want him but don't want to pay for him...
QPR, well tough shit then....

If and it is an if that the club really want him, it’s totally staggering that the owner isn’t prepared to pay compensation rumoured to be belie £1m for the most important appointment he will make, I am sorry its just pure mismanagement. There is no business sense in settling for someone else who is what now 6th choice because he has saved a few hundred £k. The same principle will apply to our summer transfer business.

eh? Will Still's compensation was £5mn and no one paid that..SAFC were right not to pay on the basis he isnt good enough to warrant it..no one was willing to pay it and the job he has now shows he hadnt achieved enough to warrant it...SAFC fans on here made a club a laughing stock by creaming their garters over a non entity such as still..
and we know the seond one is a lie..we know the club pay for extra staff additional to proctor and dodds..because..the club paid for extra staff additional to procter and dodds for neil and for mowbray..and even now with murty helping the forst team he probably got a bump in pay...

Lies help no one.
You can't prove a God damn thing.

WAY too many variables and guesses in this. Apart from all the "ifs" it's only "rumoured" the compensation is set at 1m.

Maybe this is what is holding things up, its the QPR manager who’s coming, just can’t agree compensation.
People have been stating it's a 6 figure compensation fee which obviously means less than 1M. Therefore if true (and I am not saying it is, as it is only what I have read on here) it would seem that QPR have set that figure as a release clause in his contract and I don't understand why they would be haggling over the the fee if it has been set.
