I'm guessing something was imminent but it fell through. They should really put out an explanation given the time that's passed since but they'll be shitting themselves about the fan reaction. Ironically that will make things much worse!

Seems the most logical explanation but like you say once that became apparent they could really of clarified things. They just look stupid. And is it right, the actual teams we playing in Spain still havent been announced ? if so, again just pure amateur behaviour and a complete piss take to the people who essentially pay their wages. These last 6 months have really irritated me, its incredible how far theyve dropped in my estimations and presumably a lot of other peoples as well.

The statement should not have stated imminent and certainly shouldn't have used work hope! No one successful in business tells the world they hope to make appointments. I'm OK with them remaining silent. They're shit at pr and would likely make things worse anyway. Action not words. That's what's been needed since start of last summer. They'll be judged by inaction as much as what they do and when it's done.

There shouldn't have been any statement. It told us absolutely nothing and just made things worse.
The time to talk is after they've appointed someone
