Frank Lampard - manager rumours

Good point phooey.

Out of interest though, Neil spoke up, Mowbray , Beale to an extent , all peddled.

Dodds ,

Also vocal.

Dickheads still here.
Neil wasn’t peddled and wanted a bunch of plodders. Mowbray had run his course, brilliant though he had been. He could certainly argue he hadn’t been supported in recruitment of a centre forward but had been pretty well supported elsewhere with Dack obviously being his man. Beale was peddled for other reasons too. I think the sacked for speaking up narrative is just a convenient one and not actually based in reality.

We have to agree to disagree there mind.

Agree about dack though.

Amazing how this entire timeline of chaos could be eliminated if we’d recruited a centre forward when mogga asked for one
It could still be rectified if they ditched the extreme parameters of the model, had the DoF actually listen to the head coach and provide him the tools to do the job instead of a collection of unsuitable kids.

Exactly. The vastly experienced football man Mowbray advising Speakman who has achieved what?

I think you're probably right. They won't have been sacked for speaking out, but it won't have helped their case. If they were winning every week they'd still be here. From where I'm sitting, Mowbray was never their preferred option after Neil jumped ship and they were looking for any excuse to get someone else in. He was sacked at the first opportunity, really, because he'd done so well the previous season.

It may have been true that TM had run his course, but to get rid of him without having a replacement lined up suggests this wasn’t the reason he was sacked.
What’s this with the eyes man - if you know something tell us😂
