Not really as a lot of them have a big say in signings and how the sqaud will set up. None of ours would have that so are right under Speakman's thumb.
Anybody who witnessed the decisions made in the recruitment of players and the sacking/recruitment of a head coach last season would have serious concerns in what direction the club is going.

Yes really. Theres always a pecking order and other than maybe one or two most managers are worked above by sporting directors/DOFs.
Lots of clubs these days run with a DoF model. Coaches are coaches not scouts
