This is the crux of it.

Whoever they bring in, with the length of time it's taken, the names mentioned, and the rumours as to why certain head coaches have turned the club down, its safe to say that whoever comes in they will have been way down the on list that was originally thought out (maybe not even on the list at all).

It's time the club just brought someone in. They're shopping in the basement and it's more then likely going to be someone underwhelming, but with the lads back for pre season next week, it's imperative that the new fella can at least get his feet under the table and start work.

This f#cking mess will not only have put us behind on the search for a new head coach, but in pretty much every aspect of the clubs planning for next season too, so they need to get a move on.

One thing I will say is we have no idea where anyone on the list is except Still number one. I imagine after that it’s interviewing til you get the one you want. Where as we knew still was what we wanted

It wouldn't take this long if targets weren't turning us down mate.

Even talks with Still would have been going on for a while before he turned us down. Surely the board had some idea that when he went to Nowrich for talks that there was a real possibility that he wasn't coming here.

There's no excuses for the time this is taking.

His first season with them was very very good. He’s only ever managed those two seasons as a senior manager so will learn.

I think it’s a good appointment tbh
