Baker Street? It has 2 or 3 bars yeah. I wouldn’t say any of the restaurants on linthorpe Road are any good personally. All microwaved crap. Nothing as good as the likes of spent grain or Mexico 70 etc. no variety either. All Italian’s, Indians or takeaways like you say. Like I say, I moved here and I’d love to love it but it’s absolutely crap. Thankfully there are a few places 10-15 mins away that are ok
 

One potentially annoying aspect about this is as the operating company is from outside the city the money they're taking / making won't be staying in the city.

Appreciate your view point. I'm a fairly regular visitor and like both there and Stockton.

Just think it's got a bit more about it than Sunderland centre.

The shopping has gone downhill with TK Maxx and TJ Hughes moving out of the square.

The development and city overall has come on leaps and bounds. Absolutely love a day session or night out in Sunlun.

You’re absolutely full of shit as usual. Roker, Seaburn is absolutely brilliant in the summer. Love spending my Sunday afternoons down there in the summer with the bairns.

It’s an absolutely top night out in town as well.

Architects always think their buildings look good. It's very disappointing.

There's pictures of the eye infirmary design online.
They don't normally build it different to plans.

Not great but you have to factor in the weather and it being a Sunday night. People can't really get pissed and be at work on Monday morning. Was in the town on Sunday night but only a couple of bars.

I was assuming he was just on about the town centre which is a closer race to be fair. If he’s including the likes of seaburn then there’s no competition.

Nowt to do with Sunderland looking down on Boro. My lass is from Boro and she’d say same as me.

The photo wasn’t even from Sunday night during our match, it was taken earlier in the day during the Denmark match. This is one of the many downsides to social media, it’s easy for false propaganda to spread and it’s rarely checked but people with agendas will just take it as face value.

This obviously isnt aimed at you btw, I mean in general. And the likes of skunks seem to be bad for it where there is any reason to be anti Sunderland.
