Still shortened probably due to all the news reports coming out so money drip fed in over a week or more.
Lampard shortened quickly in an hour or so because either a) a daft twitter rumour got everyone excited and placed a steady stream of bets on or b) theres more to it and people close to the deal are putting bets on and hence Skybet or cutting the price.

Not doubting your sincerity or the validity of your source, but it seems strange that not one mainstream outlet has ran a thing on these links despite several ITK’s claiming it.

Mind you the club were quick to deny the Robinson and Challinor links yet seem happy for this one to run and run …..

That would work, if his odds hadn't dropped significantly before it went viral. There have been plenty of silly rumours like the one we saw this morning, with screenshots etc, that haven't caused the odds to drop much, if at all.

I'm just struggling to see how he went from 6-8/1 to pretty much evens when it was only being discussed on this forum at the time. Therfore, it sounds more likely to be your b) example.

If it was being discussed in the forum then thats why it was dropping then. People will have heard by then.

I had the odds open and the page said 7. I saw all the posts about and it had dropped to 1.5 in that time.

Not sure some daft rumour only posted on here would have had that much influence on the odds at that time like. I guess we'll never find out.
 
The only positive spin on him being head coach is his name and I'm sure the younger players will be blown away being coached by him. He's been a top player so hopefully we could get a few very good loans!
