Frank Lampard - manager rumours

One things for certain, he’ll have the respect of the players straight way.
If he can nail it tactically; it could be a shrewd appointment.

Could also turn out to be disastrous like.

IMO it won’t be him, it’ll be some random Swiss u17’s manager who’ve we’ve never heard of.

His initial work at Chelsea, with the transfer constraints, is the most impressive bit of his cv.
Brought younger players / fringe players through and secured 4th. Very good work.
Everton - Did the same as most do there.
Derby - Given the loan players he had he should have done better.
Not as good as some would have you believe and nowhere near as bad as many claim.
I think he would be a good appointment.

I’m alright with it to be honest, could be a lot worse.

We’ll see

He was sacked after leaving them in 19th, only above Southampton on goal difference. He was appalling.

I'm struggling to see any positives all if they're looking at bringing him in. Strikes me as a total panic appointment and one that will have us scrapping around the bottom end of the table again. Would obviously love to be wrong and don't have anything against him, just think he's a shite manager.
Everton are a total basket case. Keeping them up when he did was a goos achievement

Not my first choice but happy to give him a go. If he's humble enough to admit he needs to rebuild his career in the championship, has had some success with young players and definitely had a pretty stellar playing career. There are worse options.
Same.

Bright lad by all accounts. Tonnes of experience playing at the very top under world class managers.

Did relatively well at Derby just missing out on promotion via the playoffs. Did well at Chelsea under difficult circumstances. Everton not the best but managing at a bad time, granted Dyche has been proven to have done a better job.

It's a tough one, did canny at Derby but they had a good te

doesn't look anywhere near as legit though?
Considering each of the last 3 head coach appointments have had a picture of the coach in looks more legit. It's a piece of piss to change the text on a website if you use a computer. So both likely as fake as each other.

Not saying it's not going to be lampard. Got just as much reason to believe its going to be him than anyone else but that "announcement" was bollocks
