Not against it but how does one make a cricket ground “accepting for LGBTQ+”? And how is this video appropriate for kids? When I were a wean, I didn’t know what it even meant?
The idea is that by publicly declaring that you're accepting and supportive of LGBTQ+ people, those people feel safe in your environment. I don't think there have any any notable homophobic incidents at the Riverside, but it doesn't hurt anyone to let LGBTQ+ people know it's a safe space for them, too.

As for the video, it was a brief explainer of what LGBTQ+ means, so I can't really see how anyone could think it was inappropriate for kids. It was educational. If they don't know what LGBTQ+ is, the information will either go over their heads or they might learn something. Either way, no harm done.
