He does come across as an ambitious young coach. He speaks well and his teams seem to be set up well.
I hope he gets off to good start because he's going to be up against it from day 1.

Hope he's stuck to his guns and got some assurances that he will be at least allowed to bring in an assistant and that there will be funds available to strengthen.

Will be interesting to see what spin we put on it when he's announced.
 
I heard Rosenior is 'no longer being considered' by SAFC.

He had a second Zoom call with the panel of seven last night and they didn't like what he had to say.

Apparently he isn't remotely convincing.

Agree. If he wants it it's his by default due to everyone else f***ing us off.
Never in million years was he anywhere near first choice.
The fact that we have to go with someone way down the list says it all really.
The succession planning has been none existent if we're being honest.

I`d just got married that summer (still persisting with it 18 years on - she deserves a medal) and at the start i was in Mexico on my honeymoon. We ended up talking with this couple from Reading most nights in the hotel bar. They were both season ticket holders and were absolutely gutted they were missing the start of their first season in the PL. We were losing against the likes of Southend and Plymouth iirc. Great days :lol:

sure reading played boro first game, i ended up going with the bloke to a bar to watch it at around 9 in the morning

I don’t think he will be to be honest. He’s not at all like Beale, not even close….that one was an obvious disaster.

Most of our support will give LR a fair shot at it if it is him, it’s just the usual idiots on here going over the top about it.
