Martí Cifuentes

Hammarby played some great football, when he was head coach there.

I'm in.
He should have done better at Hammarby but they often played pretty football without being effective. I think they were glad to see the back of him by the end. We need to be looking at better options than him.

Can't see it happening as safc is a bit of a sideways move from QPR at the minute. We only finished a couple of places higher than them.

Sunderland will have to pay a hefty compensation fee for QPR boss Marti Cifuentes.
The Black Cats have switched their managerial search around dramatically in the last few days with the Spaniard a favourite of leading figures at the club.
But Rangers will ask for a six figure fee for Cifuentes and Sunderland would have no option but to fork out.
Dutchman Pascal Jansen has strangely slipped out of the race after a meeting last week.
And Liam Rosenior also spoke with the seven man interview panel but is comfortable waiting on offers.
Sunderland seem to have many opinions within their ranks with one experienced official keen on St Mirren’s Stephen Robinson and Stockport rising star Dave Challinor.
The saga has also seen Bo Svensson go elsewhere and the elusive Will Still failed to commit either.
In the past Sunderland boobed badly with Michael Beale while the appointment of Tony Mowbray was down to their chief scout knowing him from Blackburn Rovers.
This chase has included input from adviser and Sky Sports pundit Dave Jones. Despite all of this expertise they are yet to get their man.

6 figures is nowt if they’re serious about him.

Could be apparent we’ve dropped Jansen for him if we end up paying compo for him because you’d think we wouldn’t pursue him if he wasn’t interested and we weren’t happy with the fee
