Leicestershire v Durham T20

Initial reactions:

We’re a chasing team

Bedingham really ought to be in the side all the time and while I’m not for one second suggesting tonight was solely down to him and the first two defeats would’ve been wins with him - the bloke just oozes class. What’s more, he seems to be able to clear the boundary by a considerable difference with an ease that other lads just don’t/can’t find.

On the wider point of overseas players, I’m sure it’s handy to have 3 lads who we can look to rotate, it’s horrific from a budgetary perspective give the generally accepted financial situation all counties appear to find themselves in.

One win doesn’t make a summer, we’ve got a tough assignment tomorrow and it wouldn’t surprise me if we lost at a ground we always struggle at, but it’s clear there is something to work with. Perhaps more importantly, it should atleast ensure that our home games stay ‘meaningful’ for longer and the club therefore are able to market them as hard as they can to swell the coffers.

Was class at the end me jumping around celebrating in front of all the Leicestershire fans. Few Durham dotted around jumping up too. Love this club.

Much better. Id drop Turner tomorrow, bring in Ackerman for him and then bring in the Aus bowler for one of Coughlin or Potts

Got to keep Bedingham in the side, so means keeping out one of the others for time being

The bears usually have a decent quality stream for their T20s

This will take me up nicely to the England match
