I like Palace style of play and reckon Jobe could grow into it.
Totally agree the lads 18Yes, the stick he gets is pathetic.
Maybe, maybe not. Colback may have had a good few games and Hendo may have had a temporary form downturn that stuck in your mind when you voiced that opinion. It happens. I remember after watching Vic Halom have a ropeyish five minute spell I foolishly opined that maybe Cruyff was fit to clean his boots……..of course I soon learnt my lesson there.back in the day i always thought jack colback looked a better prospect than henderson at the same age.
just goes to show how much i know about footy![]()
They won’t be there next season.I'd like to keep him but moving to Palace would be a class move for him. He might need to speed up his decision making to keep up with Eze and Olise mind but he'll improve massively playing in that environment

The thing is I can’t understand posters post colback v Henderson on here spouting off thinking they know better than the recruitment depts of clubs who have shown time after time that they get it right a helluva lot more times than they get it wrong. IE clubs that are punching way way way above their historical weight because of their current value for money scouting. Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth etc

Losing the highest teenage goal scorer in England last season in his first season (where he was 17 when he started)Would anyone be really arsed?
If the owners pocket big profits on the pair it proves the model is working exactly to plan though. It will be tough to lose both Bellingham and Clarke which could well happen this summer, between them the scored nearly 50% of our goals last season.
People have to realise this.Whatever he’s worth now, he’ll be worth a lot more after a season not being managed by Dodds & Beale or playing behind Burstow. Keep for now
They probably don’t even know themselves yet.Where they going?
Aye. Problem is the regime needs a big sale or two for the model to claw back a bit of credibility with the fans, media, current players, prospective players and football industry in general. The worry is they’ll be tempted to accept bids that they’d snub if we’d finished in or just outside the playoffs last season. If the owners pocket big profits on the pair it proves the model is working exactly to plan though.
Fair enough. Doubling put money in a season isn’t too bad at all, mind. I think the money can be better spent elsewhere in the squad. Not that it would be, I suppose.Think you're underselling it mate. Palace have signed about 4 championship players for around £18m+ each, I think they would be prepared to pay that.
Won’t lie regardless of the “model” I think losing players too the likes of palace and Brentford as they are so far ahead of us isn’t going to sit well with a lot of fans. It’s ok losing players to bigger clubs and clubs abroad but when it’s clubs that have historically won nowt done nowt and have hot probably their limit of growth is a bit of a kicker and I’m not one of those were giiiiit massssssssive is man it’s still a tough pill to swallow.Aye. Hopefully a few big turned down bids subtly leaked will do the job.
I think it's fair to say that he divides opinionYes, the stick he gets is pathetic.
