The Athletic: Brentford want Jobe

Will naturally want away when the club he plays for doesn’t have a head coach and hasn’t had one since mid February.

The way I see it, aye there's no doubt he'll be worth even more in a few years time, but our squad needs a lot of help right now. Whatever his potential might be, he's not integral to our team at the moment, and if we could get enough from selling him to bring in 2-3 quality players I don't think it would be wise to turn that down.

He's had a very impressive first season of mens football like. Can see why clubs are thinking about getting in now before his value goes through the roof.

Can't see him wanting a move at this stage of his career mind, and he seems to be very well advised. Nice exposure for us both though, it's only going to intensify.

He’s obviously talented and the Brentford and Palace scouts know more than anyone here, but I can’t see how he could cut it at a higher level unless he gets a pair of faster legs.

40 odd appearances and second top goal scorer suggests otherwise
