Forthcoming gigs.

Bob Vylan tickets secured for November. Last time I saw them it was in front of about 150 people, will be interesting to see how they handle the 3,000 capacity Academy,

Tool and Jane's Addiction this weekend.
Was that at the boilershop? They played there late last year iirc. I saw them play green man last year and there was a canny lot more than 150 people. They absolutely smashed it.
Lovely Eggs tonight in newcastle.

Did you catch any of the support? I missed the first band, the poet lass i thought was absolute shite.

Thinking about Big Country at Boro town hall in September.
Last time I seen them was with Adamson in the 90s.
What a song writer he was!

Got back from Bearded Theory festival today.

No, in Manchester back in 2021.

I'm confident they'll step up, it's always interesting to watch bands evolve through bigger venues though.

Nowt for me now until Prowsey's Midsummer shows at Liverpool Philharmonic at the end of July.
This is probably the biggest gap for me since pre-covid. Just had a look & it looks like Monument Festival 20th July. Missing Summer Streets as camping as already booked. I could get a few things booked in, but going to try & keep weekends as free as possible before holiday, go running, get to the gym & do more days out with the kids.

The only band I can say I've seen do that are Tame Impala, first saw them at Sound Control and the last time I saw them was at the Arena.

Next few gigs for me

Foo Fighters at the cricket ground
Suede/Manics at Castlefield Bowl
Therapy? at the Academy
In Flames at the Academy

Weighing up getting Anthrax tickets at the Apollo too
