I'm sure it's very frustrating for Bedders, but our problems in T20 have long been exacerbated by our inability to keep economy rates under any sort of control, so I can live with that. If year after year our bowlers are mostly conceding 10 an over across the campaign, and they regularly have done, then we are always asking our batters to score 200+ if we want to win a game and so it isn't surprising when we don't win that many

Yes but we were told that both Parkinson and Ackerman were signed to specifically help to address this issue. So we have Dwarshuis, Raine,Parkinson, Sowter,Drissell and Ackerman all who have decent economy rates in T20. It's the Ashton Turner signing that I would query. He's been used sparingly as a bowler and I'd rate Bedingham as a better batter than him.

Aye we need less pace not more for the t20. Similarly when we'd use the likes of bunny or rushy sparingly and go quick and get slapped arl ower. We've got carse for that

Yes, I was surprised by the Turner signing, except to say that last year our batting ended at 5 and without Turner it would have been 4. Ackers will help lengthen the batting, but our T20 batting still looks perilously lightweight. David Bedingham didn't seem that impressed at missing out last year, so Turner had better have a very good year, because this would be a stupid way to end up losing a prodigious batting talent like Bedders. I have no idea how long his contract has to run, but I'd hate to see him going somewhere else because we hacked him off over something we are sh1te at anyway

as far as Dwarshuis goes, I'm happy to stick with my original post. We are going to need a seamer who doesn't regularly go at 15 or 18 an over in the PP and at the death like the ones we had doing that job last year (Bas, Glover, Parnell), so no pressure, then

Is this guy injured or have we decided we are better off sticking with what we already have?

Either way we haven't had our money's worth from him so far.

Be tempted to drop Turner and bring him in, but would likely need another change to bulk the batting.

Could have Jones back available soon with Scotland being knocked out, also De Leede deepening on results this morning
