Joe Root calls for a reduction in county cricker

I’m still amazed we’re going with “he worded wrongly”

No. He said it. It was clear. Unless he has back tracked then why would anyone give him an out that just was just “worded wrongly”?
Buttler said what he meant. He's here because he feels like he has to be not because he wants to be. If he had his way we'd be going straight to the WC with zero prep games and zero time together as a squad.

In my opinion what he has said is unforgivable.

Well yeah of course Buttler has to take his fair share, but think all would agree nobody pre tournament expected our top established performers to perform soo badly in that tournament.

And as much as Buttler has to take responsibility they should get off Scot free and blame on captain

In the same way our England football managers have always his historically been blamed for our top players not performing in major tournaments
I never implied that the players don't take some responsibility I was merely producing the evidence that supports that Buttler is a poor leader.
Comparison with a football manager is spurious but as to his responsibilities the clue lies in the word manager.

Ideally but not sure that possible if them competitions too long.

International cricket has to come first
Do you not see the huge contradiction in that? International cricket should come first but also stop completely for the IPL, is an incompatible position.

So what about all the other franchise leagues? You surely want international cricket to stop for those as well then? Or is it just English and Indian people you love to see smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves?

I’m still waiting for a response from
Him to my questions. Get nothing once it’s valid.

Only fair play when it suits him

Hence why I don’t bother engaging properly with him anymore. I’ve been down this dead end path far too many times with him that I now know better.
I find it quite charming that someone wants to see the best in absolutely everything and everyone. It’s a nice character trait.

But sometimes, f***ing hell, recognise that things are a bit shit. And that people are arseholes.

“People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazi’s, you can’t trust ‘people’.”

;)
I think there has to be some acceptance by me on this one

Yeah impossible to ignore that point.

Surely everyone just ignores him? Ive got them all on ignore so it's down to the masses who don't realise they're just wind up merchants

The thing about Johnson (and his various iterations) is that he’s genuinely a very present and passionate supporter of international AND domestic cricket.

He was always very forthright with his views and his main problem was probably ‘aggression’ getting the better of him, which is a place I’ve been at before too I must concede. BUT Johnners was intelligent and most importantly, very well informed on the subjects he was debating.

This knacker just makes shit up as he goes along and changes his opinion to suit whatever argument he’s got himself into.

I’ve seen people sacked for less.
