Probably the only takers as he’s well past his prime. May well have been English clubs that would have taken him in the lower prem, but Ajax may well have been more for tax reasons that playing reasons

Europe is a big continent and there are leagues where an older player can flourish. They also have different tax laws so he can keep as much of the blood money he snatch as possible. Truth is no one wanted him. He should retire imo.

Entirely upto him whether he retires. The Dutch league isn’t gonna be a stretch for him at his age, and he’s not good enough to play for major teams in major leagues anymore

Not sure how much he signed for but ajax will have a clear out. That's why he may want to call it a day. There's no way his reputation can be repaired

Someone in the lower Premier League would take him imo, there's always idiots around who want to sign crocks. We done it for long enough - Lescott, Dossena and so on for example.

He doesn’t bother me either way if he plays or not, entirely upto him. Same as I’d never take any pr bullshit players come out with, with any seriousness.
Henderson was his own worst enemy spouting all the gay stuff then making himself look a mug, it doesn’t detract from what he has achieved playing wise.
Same with le tissier, great player but absolute loon of a fella😂

It can't remove his medals your right. No one will ever think the same way about him once he left Liverpool. That's on him.

Depends if you can separate the achievements from the silliness. He was a good player who made the most of his talents. Thick as a post but then, footballers aren’t renowned for their critical thinking

Still has…it’s mainly Sunderland fans who developed an overnight dislike of all things Saudi.

Even if you don’t like Liverpool, Henderson has been a model professional who has tried to do his best

I'm more disappointed in him than angry. There's no coming back from this following his earlier position prior to taking their money. I really feel strongly about the issues in the middle east and how they're effecting the rest of the world.
