Jordan Henderson compendium thread

‘Supported’ as do all players and all captains have a captains column written for them by the press officer.

So again … ‘not everything he stands for’.

All he stands for is playing football and making as much money from his profession as possible whilst he can….. erm like we all do at work.
and the shilling for a world cup in a country where homsexuality is illegal?

Some of the defence of his decision isn't half reaching

He never really supported LGBTQ+ rights as someone else wrote it all for him

His accepting Saudi money is fine as my dad did the same when he worked there

He's one of our own. So whereas we might criticise the Mags for campaigning for Saudi money, it's fine for someone born in the Sunderland boundaries

Thread makes us look a bit stupid actually

Well that is simply wrong, plenty of articles and videos where he has talked in person of his support of LGBTQ+
He also felt the need to apologise when he took the money over any principles he had by going to Saudi. Why do that if he hasn't done anything wrong?

He’s pointing out that’s what others are saying in an to justify it.
My bad

Ignore my reply, apologies

I'd definitely pursue this route as long as new head coach and his team are in unison etc. It's a gamble if he is even interested in pursing coaching etc that said it has the potential to be a superb move
I am not expecting it but I'd be happy with it. If we are going down the young manager route why not get a player for a season or 2 along with it in a position we are desperate for. Add in he's a local lad who I think has leadership qualities then why not. I don't for a minute think this will happen, but just saying

Has he been released by Ajax?

Hes 34 next month. This will be last chance to play for us and i'd welcome him back.

I can forgive him for making a bad error of judgement, it wasn’t whilst representing our club and he has enough credit in the bank.
I was disappointed in him but only because I held him in such high esteem and put him on a pedestal.
He fell off, but he is still a good man and is exactly what our club needs
