County Cricket 2024

All over in less than two days at Taunton and 37 wickets fell. Pity Somerset won on a wicket not fit for 1st class cricket.
I knew before a ball had been bowled yesterday just by seeing their starting Xl what they where up to.
Watched the 1st session this morning and the ball was seaming all over and no swing. Does county cricket no favours.

Lancs could be unlikely relegation candidates? They’ve looked crap every game this season.
Benks is probably my favourite Durham cricketer and really wanted him to get the head coaches job ahead of Lewis but it certainly hasnt worked out for him yet in county cricket.
Warwickshire collapse against Surrey 209 all out. Surrey need 89 to win.
Gloustershire have won their first championship since September 2022.
It may have been against us on that Bunsen at Bristol.

Surely Extras has hit a ton before?
Apparently not in england 98HS

A few tons in india though
He got 91 for us against Derbyshire at the Riverside before Covid thanks to Viljoen persisting in bowling bouncers which kept flying either over the wicket keeper's head or down the leg side.

Zac Crawley got a golden duck today. His form has been really poor in the County Championship so far. 5, 4, 41, 6, 10 and now 0.

Root has been in very good form though.
