Ian Poveda (transfer rumours)

Can only remember him having a good game against us for Blackpool, but nowt since.

Don't we have enough attacking midfielders to be bringing in another? There's Adil, Rigg, Embo, Ba and (of course) the undroppable Jobe. Unless it's a player of better quality then I don't really see the point.

Would be nice to see us linked with some strikers and DCM's for a change.

aye right..you know they clock the times footballers can run and that can be measured against the time of ath;etes
Aye but athletes train for running permanently, Shaun Wright-Phillips for example, trains for Football, not sprinting.

Let someone like Wright-Phillips train every day for sprinting and they’ll give professional sprinters the shock of their lives

It's clear we need more experience in the team. Has to be right kind, though. Just like youngsters need to be right kind. Not the shyte we've brought in lately.

Aye, I just don’t see wingers - which is what I was talking about as needing to be experienced.

We need a DM, a striker and maybe a CB in the spine of the team that should be experienced.

why do you think he would be faster?
And as I already mentioned the fastest player in premier league history is 6 foot 3..inidcating ta;ller is faster..just as bolt and carl lewis showed..

We need two starting wingers imo, because both should be off. Clarke because we’ve no choice and Roberts because fuck him. Minute he got a contract his form went off a cliff.
Don’t think that’s quite true. His “form” in terms of assists/goals was poor long before he got the contract. He was playing well though, and contributing if not as directly as we would like.

It was more a case of the team going to shit and his injuries that derailed him after the contract.

One of the best footballers at the club, and a new coach should focus on getting the best out of him.

Would they fuck man

Ahh the winger but can play through the middle too. A Kristian Speakman trademark.

Add onto the fact he's another 'attacker' that rarely scores any goals and that'll be us playing him as the main striker then.

We are desperate for players who actually try shooting once in a while and yet again (if this is true) he's another player who doesn't.
He's quality.

And doesn't score, we need players who do

You think that amount of games is an experienced player?
I'm keep hearing we need experience but no one can give me a definitive answer what it is. I'm interested to know at what point a player turned from inexperienced to experience. Obviously you can't answer that.

This lad is almost 25 and played played the majority of his football in the Championship. Played a decent amount in the PL and internationally with England through the age groups and senior with Columbia.
