Clarkson’s farm

been down there a couple times and the little shop is decent. nice pint too.

Next door there is a camp site and across the road is a caravan site that has manky old, disused caravans all over it. But Clarkson cant have his car park etc. The state of the grass verges around his shop are still knackered years later. great foresight from a local council as always.

More than likely because the in laws live on a farm and I'm used to a lot of this stuff but episode 4 didn't arse me, I'm ashamed to say. Part of life.

Can I just say what an utter bellend the copper at Downing St is. Hopefully he's been pulled up for that.

When I was a lot younger and in the scouts we got invited to Downing Street and upon knocking on the door, received a similar tirade. It's either the same dour git or a genuine part of the job.

You're more pissed than me, Take care & have coffee in the morning. (Helps your bowels)

Don't think it was a copper but a bloke on minimum wage going above his station.
I'd go outside and rattle the fuck on the door.
Brilliant series
Like you say, it'll have been some twat who recognised them trying to put a marker down. Imagine if he had booted them out and then had to explain to the PM why his 10am meeting wasn't happening anymore.

My relatives had a farm in West Berkshire and as a kid I was dropped off there for a couple of weeks every summer.

Wonderful memories and idyllic summers made a change from industrial Preston!

The animals were really well looked after but were simply a profit source - any favourites or pets were not for the chop.

Great life lessons for a young lad from Lancashire.

The positive effect on your mental health you get from knocking around a farm is massively underrated.
