Late decision made to go to see Apollo Junction in Bury tomorrow night which will be followed by The Men They Couldn't Hang in Manchester on Saturday.

Good band Apollo Junction. They’re getting some cracking gigs on at the Met and Wax and Beans at the moment

Never heard of Apollo Junction like

I really like their last album (their third). One of their songs (Million IIRC) has been used by the Match of the Day this season. They seem to have a smallish but loyal following judging by the venues they play etc.

Wax and Beans seems to have a similar ethos to Action Records in Preston.

turns out she bought 2 tickets for cardiff to surprise me with

First time seeing Baxter Dury at the glasshouse this week, really enjoyed it.

Was only half full but it didn’t affect their performance, they were class.

The lass on vocals and keys is a superstar.
