Clarkson’s farm

.

Hmmmmmm I find that unconvincing.

Of course we are seeing the argument presented chiefly from one viewpoint.

"Not a single resident interviewed by Mail Online had a good word to say about Clarkson and his farming venture."

I dare say the residents do not benefit and are inconvenienced by the farm. Other farmers may well have benefitted if Jeremy bought their produce to sell in the restaurant.

I wonder if the other farm shop in Chadlington is subject to the same locality rules as Didly Squat?

Their pretty little, sleepy village is being overrun by tourists. His restaurant made absolutely no difference to an "area of outstanding natural beauty", they just want him to fail because it upsets their way of life.

I do also agree that he will be deliberately provoking people at times for the sake of drama on the show, but I also think some of these people are deliberately trying to prevent him succeeding, which also hurts other farmers in the area, who he is helping.

Thats what I think the issue is. Can imagine a place like that the people don't want more people moving or even going there. In my head im picturing a type of village thats in hot fuzz so will do what ever they can to stop him attracting more people.

The public drive past the other farm shops to get to diddly squat thats the problem...
Oh and there cushy existence.

And how many people does Clarkson employ in the locality, boosting the local economy

I’m sure Rupert the forester is not in great demand to reset fallen willow.
