Starting a generational talent well over a year after he made his debut means fk all. Any manager with half a brain would hand a player like that a start and a lot sooner than he got one.

Debuting young players which don’t have the hype around them, choosing the right ones at right times is more an indication of a managers ability to handle youth correctly
