CC : Worcestershire v Durham

Got ourselves into a nice position here. I thought on Friday that we had actually batted reasonably well and getting a decent first innings lead suggests that was right.

A few games hopefully with wood stokes and Potts in the side will help

Definitely. The likes of Surrey and Essex who have historically over the last few years been near the top don't have great seam bowling depth

Essex as an example rely on Harmer heavily and would be mid table without him

I think your doing Sam Cook a great disservice there.

Harmer makes the them tick

Sam Cook, a very consistent county bowler, but too slow for test cricket, same as Porter. Neither give you much to hit

Cook grew up bowling on a non traditional Essex seamer friendly wicket in club cricket, hence so accurate as learnt to put it on the spot ball after ball
