No mate and to my absolute shock not one person has suggested that yet eitherWould I be cynical to suggest announcement of future work to ground comes out just before they ask for season ticket renewals?
Seems odd really then that the literal Charlton website publishes articles that include his view and where he describes himself as an owner.yes they do..but they are wrong...its not his fault they are wrong..he has filed paper work showing he isnt the owner..
so unless you are accusing him and all his colleagues of the crininal offence of false accounting..
by now i thought you people would have relaised the mainstream media are full of the most pungent shite..
companies house lists methven as one of many shareholders in charlton..
you are doing it again..ascribing your mistakes to mine..accusing me of making stuff up when i referenced reality...i cant engage with your sort of behaviour and cerianly dont describe me as marra
……though there is a logic that the renewal packs forced the announcement. No mate and to my absolute shock not one person has suggested that yet either
with another store in the Galleries or Metro centre can't remember which one I heard. But town centre will open eventually.
I fully agree they’ve announced it before the renewals as a bit of positive PR. To my mind that’s generally how marketing works. Not overly sure why people think they’ve lifted the veil and seen them pulling some mad trick. As you say, not much of what was released would sway people genuinely unhappy to not renew. It was just a bit of welcome good news for the stadium.……though there is a logic that the renewal packs forced the announcement.
They needed to announce the changes in ground configuration prior to people renewing (so people understood what ‘seat’ they were buying)- imagine the outcry on here if people had renewed then been told they were now in standing (I appreciate most people stand there but there are people who will move because of the change).
Also, I don’t think anyone really believes that anyone l’s choice to renew or not will be influenced by a new PA system.
If treat appropriately then there’s nothing wrong with using carbon fixings and fasteners, it’s a hell of a lot more cost effective as well. The roof is 27 years old, probably close to the end of its realistic life.
Was it fixed with stainless steel fixings? If not and carbon steel was used (hopefully not) then it will be a problem very soon.
The internal steels are horribly exposed in the east stand, last time I checked corrosion from the sea air didn't wait while we reported the exposed steel
The thing which would most improve my fan experience at the Stadium of Light would be a multi-million pound investment on the players on the pitch.Sunderland AFC has committed to a new multi-million-pound investment programme to improve fan experience at the Stadium of Light.

You’ll be lightning quick in the ground thenI don't even have 5g![]()
The club have announced, in fairly jargonistic terms, what amounts to essential maintenance.
Now it’s reassuring that it’s going to be done (because it is essential maintenance) but they’re going to have be pretty astonishing floodlights to radically transform the fan experience for most punters.
The fact they’ve announced this in a celebratory fashion in the morning and followed it up in the afternoon with season ticket renewals and a price rise just makes the earlier announcement look opportunistic.
Im more cynical than most. But I do hope the fanfare of the announcement is warranted and amounts to a better experience and a home to be proud of again

In the stadiums location I wouldn't be so confident that carbon steel fixings would be fine over a prolonged period of timeIf treat appropriately then there’s nothing wrong with using carbon fixings and fasteners, it’s a hell of a lot more cost effective as well.

I’ve only ever really tried to send an iMessage in the ground and it’s always worked for me on 5G.So do I, but why on earth would yesterday's announcement have any sort of effect on season tickets?
You're absolutely right. Gone are the days of switching to 3g!

I think you’ve only missed that “this must be what the loan is for” (that has yet to be proven by anyone) and “so the away fans aren’t moving then?” And that’ll complete your bingo card mate. Cracking workNot reading the thread but expect it can be summarised as follows;
Anywhere near?
- Should have spent the money on a striker
- So KLD isn't selling
- Cheap con to get ST renewals up
- How does this affect FFP?
- Waste of money
- Haven't spent enough
- Should widen the concourses
- Get beer dispensers in
- But worrabout (insert random gripe here)?
