SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

The loan is a very normal business practice surely?

KLD level of cash liquidity for the ultra rich, estimated to frequently between 2-10%, and working off his estimated £2bn he’s likely to have £40m - £200m

If the poor lad only has £40m in his Monzo account it’s understandable he ain’t spending a quarter of it on a spruce up!
I'm no accountant , but I watched a program about an exclusive estate agent who works with the ultra rich. They were finding properties in the region of 20-30 million.
They said all their clients would take out a mortgage on the property as their money was making more money elsewhere and it was more beneficial to pay the mortgage than buy it in one lump sum and lose the money they are making on that lump sum.
Like I say I'm no accountant but it's not the same playing field as us. We borrow money because we don't have the funds for what we want. The ultra rich borrow money as a way of getting what they want but still benefiting from not reducing their a original assets

The South Stand / Roker End being the home end may work better logistically if a lot of away fans come in by coach and use Wessington Way. This might have been a consideration, especially with the footbridge opening. If that is to be our home end then when are we going to use that dugout and when are we going to attack it second half? I wonder if that is practical if we keep the same changing rooms (the home one is bigger).

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, but standing areas take up more room than sitting if they have rail seating. This will reduce the stadium capacity.

If we do have some proper investment then another tier on the South Stand or executive boxes and a tier on the East could be options, but I realise this is wishful thinking at the moment.
"I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, but standing areas take up more room than sitting if they have rail seating"...........not sure if thats true mate in all cases ..we have our seats fitted to terraced concrete and its quite tight but if we had to recast the concrete to make it wider it would cost a fortune ........I would suggest that the back part of the seat would be extended up to form the rail of the seat behind and on and on ..it would be tight but its the only way they could do it without astronomical and not cost effective work.

They wont pull the wool over my eyes mate.Lick of paint and aBit 5G man😂 Jesus wept. Section of our fanbase will lap up anything. Same morons who lapped up Donold and Sammon pants
Me neither mate
Best comment I’ve seen today in response to them going round seeing what needed to be fixed ‘Great step in right direction’
They see fixing hand dryers, does and basic paint work as brilliant
It’s the ultimate basics they carrying out
The 5G thing I mean it’s hardly an essential for a football fan watching a match
Scary how gullible people are it really is
The fact they made statement about what they doing as well is deliberate all
In season ticket renewal week, coincidence I think not
They’ve labelled it ‘fan experience’, priceless 😂😂

I can't get my head around how they must be in real life. Unless they just live on here and thats their world. Takes some doing being so negative, about every single thing...alllllll of the time. Mind boggling.
Why do you need to paint people who are critical of how these owners are running our club like this? The fact you need to create this image in your head of perpetually negative losers who have nothing going on just shows how divisive and invested in these owners you are. The fact you need to create this baseless image to put people you disagree with in easy little boxes just proves how insecure you are in yourself and your views.

Why does it upset you that so many fans are not impressed and dubious about this token investment? These owners have proven they are incompetent and can't be trusted. Obviously any stadium investment is welcome but I don't believe they will invest the money required to fix most of the issues, I don't even think they will put their own money in, they'll more likely just put more debt on the club to pay for it.

They can't even stick to their word about the bcb investigation so I have no confidence this is anything other than another PR stunt and a token investment to alleviate fan anger at the state of the stadium. In a year the toilets will still be broken, tvs will still be not working, the stadium will still be dirty, wifi will still be spotty etc.

And right on queue, there's more. Is it not exhausting looking at everything through a negative lens?!

And another...just smile, take a deep breath, everything is gonna be ok.
All above is fact what I’m saying
They carrying out what should be basic conditions for a paying fan made Massive statement about it being ‘the fan experience’ all in season ticket renewal week
This stuff they doing should just be done, bread and butter stuff at most clubs , pitch, floodlights PA system basic Repair work
The wheels are coming off on the pitch, we have a z list coach so they try this to appease the masses
It’s so transparent amazed at how taken in people are

...because he thinks he's well'ard sitting behind his phone or laptop calling people who don't agree with him or the way the club is being ran...there's a few like that on here.

Apparently been jet washing outside South and East stands yesterday and today on the cladding. Hope so, cos it was minging.

Why do they need to walk around with supporters to see what needs doing??
Exactly mate it’s a cheap PR line to show ‘we engaging with fans’ again people have just lapped it up

Kildare man..ffs🙈
