Good news. Any works for improvement in the SOL is good news. Needed it for a while.

It was getting jetwashed yesterday like, the south stand and going round to the east stand

Lets see what the actually do and how long they take to do it before handing out the medals!?Remember these are the folk that have let it get into the state it is in now! the off field stuff maintenance ,stewarding shop ect is non league standard and that needs to change pdq......if i was a cynical man i would laugh at the timing of the announcement and be preparing for a season card price hike!

You met him? I haven't, so i can't comment. Had people who have met him say he is an arrogant prick..and 1 lad who is quite popular on here say he has nothing but good things to say about him and has had meetings with him.

I've been in his company several times at various functions. But I also get little snippets coming from different routes, from others who have had closer interactions with him, who don't know each other and usually their opinions are not a kick in the arse off each other.

I always keep an open mind TBH, until I really know someone, but with KS I just can't get away with him. He oozes arrogance and I don't mean arrogance in any positive sense.

Without reading the whole thread, Does this funding come out of our FFP budget which i always thought Maintenance did? Hopefully not and it can only be a good thing.

I highly doubt it's a sign KLD is selling up, but on the flip side, so many rumours leaked out , and the last time our owners borrowed 10M (That is if the loan rumour is true, which looks so) they then sold up not long after so it could go either way.

It's a good thing whatever, and I remember CM face dropping on STID when that young lad say's it doesn't matter what music you play unless you change the PA system. I may be having a memory fart totally here but was a figure of 50K mentioned for a new PA system? I may be just imagining that mind.

The club can’t even employ a half decent defensive midfielder or striker, when a blind man on a galloping horse can see we’ve been crying out for it for months and months. It’s quite curious timing given renewal packs will likely be sent out by the end of the week, it’s almost like they realise a hell of a lot of people aren’t bothering renewing because of the ineptitude of the ownership, so need to announce something. These are the people who turned the BCB into a mag enclave. They are no better than Donald and Methven.

Great news, that. It's desperate for some TLC.

A kit announcement in April to go alongside the announcement of the new partnership would be canny.

This has got to be lies , I read on hear KLD won't spend any money and he's selling the club , I'm sure someone will complain we are spending on the stadium instead of players

I reckon you'll probably see it's a miniority who won't renew. In my opinion ST sales will be fairly close to this seasons. They are far, far better than Donald and Methven but that argument has been done to death on here and it's quite obvious certain people have made their minds up and won't be changing their opinion no matter what the club does. We know they've made mistakes with recruitment and the BCB but they've also done a lot of good here inside the 3 years they've been in charge but people are making out it's been a disaster since day one which it very obviously isn't.
