SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

Do we need new floodlight?

The rest is great news and glad we are taking this summer to do the pitch so we can have concerts the next
Those extra ones, installed about 5 years are really bright. (Just like some of these LED headlights they’ve recently introduced)

If a player follows the path of the ball and it passes in front of the lights, I’m sure it will temporarily dazzle them.

Hopefully this upgrade will address this

Youd like to think that these issues will be pointed out in the walk around that they've committed too, which is only a good thing and at least shows that the fan forums and meetings are javing some effect.

Commitment to improvements of the SoL is a step in the right direction too, despite some omissions in that statement, which will hopefully be covered in due course. As you say, we'll see what's done but it's a positive step. Tye next step is obviously actions beyond words.
You'd like to think so but the wheelie bind collecting water have been in the west stand concourse for over a month now. That's just one example, it doesn't take this long to fix.

Is it a coincidence that St renewals are out later this week? 🤔 There needs to be positive action, not words and fast. Safc should tell us what they've done not what they may do.

"As part of the continued upkeep of the stadium, the Club will also be engaging with the Supporters’ Collective to undertake a walkaround of the facility to identify any outstanding maintenance points to ensure they are addressed as part of the Club’s summer improvement programme."

I thought they already did this?

Great timing from the club just before ST renewals.

They promised it ahead of last season but never did it.

It’s why I’m sceptical.

Maybe we need to be at a certain level to meet the guidelines set out by UEFA

This is good news and it’s overdue.

Again I’ll wait for the outcome before getting excited. We’ve not long had the current pitch, we were given WiFi that never works, the safe standing bit isn’t going to make any difference as everyone stands their anyway.

Light shows can really add to an atmosphere so that’s welcome and I’m happy to see the walk around being talked around. It’s a shame it’s almost 2 years since it was first promised.

In theory it’s good news but the proof will be in the pudding.
They did mention when doing the pitch last time that it would need further upgrades and timescale wouldn't allow them to make all of the changes they wanted

Acknowledging that upgrading the stadium is good news. In what way is it not ?

Life doesn't always have to be one big agenda. They still have plenty they need to get right.
Exactly and the main priority is GOOD PLAYERS and then a GOOD manager but we will not spend a penny man - we probably will get grants to pay for the above

Always found it a bit odd why people kick off about the PA system like. It works fine and you can hear what you need to hear

Be complaining it’s too loud next season

Whole thing is a positive……dropped in just before the season ticket renewals are due
