Obviously goes without saying clearly a once in a lifetime partnership. Especially when they scored 2 between them in first innings.

They've shown it wasn't exactly a fluke as they've backed it up, in what ended up being match winning again(in the Semi Final no less)

The number 10 ended 89* following on from his 120*.

So perhaps he should do the honourable thing and be a Brearley style captain and bat himself at 11.
