Anyone else not excited by the thought of 40M + coming into the coffers in the summer from the sales of Clarke and Ballard?

Burnley built an unreal squad last season from money generated from player sales, spent around 35m in total and walked the league.

Heartbroken as the next fella but every cloud and that.

There’s a hefty wedge in wages becoming available aswell with Clarke and Ballard top earners, in for a few surprises I’m hoping, time to push on next season if we do lose players for big money, no excuses.

Why would anyone be excited at losing our best players?

Nearly spent that last summer, treble it and they pocket the rest. They’ll spend a few quid, it’s how it works, suppose wel see if they really are worth there salt in a few month.

Didn’t say I was excited about losing players, excited about the thought of some decent coin to spend.
 
Hopefully with a few quid to spent this time Speakman can get the players we need in. I wonder though if the type of players we need are just above what he can deliver. Getting out of league one by littering the team with players from the championship is one thing but in the summer we will need 7+ premier league quality players to make that next step.

40M. Not sure where people get these figures.

I've said it before, and tin hat on but I don't see many PL teams queing up for either.
